By accessing or using MealMeow ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MealMeow is a cat nutrition tool that provides:
- Personalized calorie targets based on veterinary formulas (RER/DER)
- Food recommendations scored by nutrition, value, and suitability
- An AI-powered chat assistant for diet questions
- Community features for sharing meal plans and posts
MealMeow is an informational tool only and does not constitute veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for your cat's health needs.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use MealMeow.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Upload harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service.
- Impersonate other users or MealMeow staff.
- Use the AI chat to generate harmful or inappropriate content.
5. AI Chat Usage
The AI chat assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate. AI-generated advice is for informational purposes only and should not replace veterinary consultation. By using the chat, you also agree to Anthropic's usage policies.
6. Community Content
When you share meal plans, posts, or reviews on MealMeow, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
MealMeow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MealMeow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any health outcomes for your cats based on recommendations provided.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
